His Four Biographies

Jim Reuter - Baritone & Piano: Jim accepted the Lord as Savior at 11 years old at an old time Tent Revival. He grew up in Alden , New York (outside Buffalo ) attending church with his Mother going whenever the doors were open. He has been involved in Gospel and church music for over 35 years. He started taking piano lessons when he was 5 years old, with his favorite teacher being a Pastor’s wife, until he was 17. Jim has been church pianist, choir director and been involved in church choirs and ensembles over the years, and is currently the Music Director at Peace River Baptist Church in Punta Gorda, FL. Jim & Cheryl came to Port Charlotte , Florida in 1975. They have two Florida born children. Grown up now their daughter Bekki is an Administrative Assistant/Accountant at Tax Savers in Murdock , FL and their son Bo is a Corrections Officer in Miami , FL - Isaiah 40:31

Cheryl Reuter - Tenor: Cheryl was raised in a Christian home and attended church since she was a baby. She was at a Red Harper Revival in her hometown of Cowlesville , New York when she asked Lord to be her Savior. Cheryl & Jim met when they were Jr. High School age when their families attended the same church together. When she was a Senior in High School, she and Jim started dating then in July 1973 they were married. Cheryl started singing in the youth and adult choir at church in the 7th grade, sang in the school chorus and played in the band. She has sung with church choirs and mixed ensembles over the years at the various churches they’ve attended, and is helping Jim working with the Praise Team at the Peace River Baptist Church. When not out singing she stays busy as a managing partner in her own accounting and tax business, Tax Savers in Murdock , FL - Philippians 4:4

John Jordan - Born in West Virginia, raised in Illinois, John arrived in Port Charlotte Florida in 1997 to serve the Lord as Worship Pastor at First Christian Church of Port Charlotte where Jim & Cheryl attended. An accomplished Trombone player John and his wife Jennifer, a trumpet player, have been a part of “The Impact Brass and Singers” while attending Ozark Bible College. John is currently working on his Masters Degree in Music Worship as well as endeavoring to serve local churches through his ministry www.celebratingchrist.org .
